We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Hemel. This is a target-based, fast-paced warehouse role involving a range of general warehouse duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and putting away stock
- Retrieving large boxes
- Wrapping and preparing pallets
- Using pallet trucks
- Using handheld scanners and barcode tracking systems
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets
Physical Requirements & Targets
This is a physically demanding role and would suit someone who is comfortable with regular lifting and manual handling.
- Boxes typically weigh between 5kg and 12kg
- You will be expected to pick a minimum of 244 boxes per day
- You must be able to work at a consistent pace while maintaining accuracy
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out repetitive lifting are essential

Vetting & Background Checks
Due to the nature of the business, all successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary vetting and background checks, including:
- Basic DBS check
- Adverse credit history check
- 5 years of employment references
You must also have lived in the UK for the required period to complete the relevant vetting checks.
If you have not lived in the UK for more than 6 months during the last 5 years, you may also be required to provide a police check/DBS certificate from any country where you previously resided.
